Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Become Athletic, an online athletic development coaching platform operated by CWC Method (the "Platform", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Membership, Billing & Cancellation Policy.
If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
Eligibility
To use Become Athletic you must be at least 16 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your country of residence. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform and to accept these Terms on your behalf.
You further confirm that you are physically fit to undertake exercise, and that you have consulted a qualified medical professional if you have any pre-existing condition, injury, or concern.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration.
- Keep your profile, contact details, and health information up to date.
- Do not share your account, membership, or password with anyone else.
- You may close your account at any time from the app or by contacting support.
Membership Access
The Platform offers both free features and paid membership features. Paid features (including full programmes, tracking, exercise library and education content) require an active recurring subscription of €29 per month, as described in our Membership, Billing & Cancellation Policy.
We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features from either tier at our discretion. Where a change materially reduces paid membership value, we will give reasonable prior notice.
Acceptable Use
You agree that, when using the Platform, you will not:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly display our programmes, videos, exercise library, or education content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise access the Platform in a way we did not intend.
- Upload malware, viruses, or any content that infringes the rights of others.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or health status.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Platform or its infrastructure.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to the CWC Method framework, the six-pillar model, programme structures, exercise demonstrations, coaching videos, education content, brand assets, and software — is owned by CWC Method or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access this content for your own individual training use for the duration of your active membership. No commercial use, redistribution, or derivative work is permitted without our prior written consent.
Exercise & Health Disclaimer
Programmes, exercise recommendations, and assessments provided on the Platform are general educational and coaching material. They are not individualised medical treatment.
- Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new training programme.
- Stop immediately and seek medical advice if you feel pain, dizziness, or any unusual symptom.
- Progress gradually. Never sacrifice technique for load, speed, or repetitions.
- Ensure your training environment and equipment are safe and appropriate.
No Medical Advice
The CWC Standards, assessment engine, exercise library, education videos, and any coach-produced content are provided for informational and coaching purposes only. Nothing on the Platform is intended to be, and should not be treated as, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition or before making changes to your exercise, nutrition, or recovery routines.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of information you provide in your onboarding, assessment, and profile.
- Your own training decisions and the intensity at which you train.
- Maintaining an internet connection and up-to-date device to access the Platform.
- Any taxes, fees, or charges imposed by your local jurisdiction on your subscription.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, CWC Method, its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of income, loss of profits, or loss of data, arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Platform in any 12-month period is limited to the total amount you paid to us in that period. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, cancel your membership, and revoke your access to any content immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraudulent activity, or if required by law. You may cancel your membership at any time as described in our Membership, Billing & Cancellation Policy.
Termination does not affect any obligations that by their nature survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
Changes to the Platform & Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal or regulatory requirements, or operational needs. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice where reasonably possible.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
